I have recently despised being on my phone and social media but I’ve been craving fun facts anyway, this subscription has cured the need! It is such a fun and interactive way to feel involved in the world of history. I recommend this company to anyone looking to enjoy something new!
Janine B.
as a history buff this is a dream.
Michelle S.
It’s fantastic! I’ve been trying to introduce my child to physical media, and since their favorite subject is history, I feel like I’m earning some cool mom points :)
Katie F.
The paper is so interesting and well written! I also really enjoy the history themed games in it
Pennie E.
Reading the paper is very nostalgic! I love how packed full of articles it is. It feels like a high quality newspaper. I love learning about history and find the stories interesting and knowledgeable. The paper arrives right away as advertised. I'm very pleased with the decision to subscribe!
Richard W.
I have only read one issue so far, but liked it.
Charles D A.
A Great Idea newspaper.
Denise E.
This paper is so interesting. It addresses some events that I’ve never heard of! Love it!!
Bernadene W.
It was really nice not having to read through boring textbooks or biographies to get to the most important parts of a story. I really like that this is more than just pictures and stories, there's also a puzzle that helps you use the info you just read about.
Bruce Y.
I never received the issue and the cs department says it can’t process a replacement for a full month. I know when the other issues arrived and I’m quite certain this one was lost or mis delivered but nothing will be done until two days from now. I cannot review a product I never received.
Sue S.
I ordered it for my husband for an early Father’s Day gift. He loved it!
Chuck H.
I have yet to receive an issue! Please cancel my subscription immediately!
Terry W.
I love reading about history, especially military history. I love the variety of articles but especially like the large font, which makes it easier to read. Before I fly to Italy next year, on a 9 hour flight, I plan on ordering the first 7 editions so I can have them for the flight.
jack c.
I remember as a kid in grade reading a journal called the Weekly Reader. I first learned of Laos and Viet Nam through that journal. There were X-word puzzles, word games, and news that a 9-year-old would find interesting. This journal brings back that feeling. I found the articles interesting but light. Not sure if it's for me or not, but I am going to continue for a couple of more issues to get a better feel for the journalism.
PAMELA K.
I have not received any issues of b this magazine yet
Denise L.
I haven't had a chance to read the whole issue yet, but so far, I'm loving it! I only gave the 1 issue a month subscription three stars because I already know I want to switch to paying for a full year at once. I have tried to get into my account so I can change it, but it never works. I click on "sign in", get the code, and it just goes back to telling me to sign in. I have tried over and over. But I love the newspaper itself!
Lindsley D.
Please cancel my subscription. Thank you.
Patti B.
It was interesting and had such a variety of information.
paul c.
I liked it but enough with the emails please
Dorothy S.
The paper has all sorts of interesting information. I enjoy it!
Bill B.
When I saw the size of the print, I immediately trusted you. I love books but recently switched 100% to Kindle because even with glasses pr I nt b is a problem. Thanks so much.
Guy M.
I absolutely LOVE History Nation. It's now my favorite read. Highly recommend!!!!
James O.
By the time you ad shipping it just makes the product too expensive for 24 pages of material. I didn't realize that shipping would add some 50% more to the cost and really felt deceived by that.
Wendy M.
I love these- I get the history and the baking newsletters. The history one covers many time periods and topics, it’s soooo much more interesting than scrolling.
John G.
As a new subscriber, my first issue of History Nation definitely did not disappoint. So many articles on a wide range of interesting topics!
And how great to have a journal I can hold in my hands while the coffee brews! My wife is poring over the paper as well. We both hate using our devices to read news on line. Many of the websites are not user friendly & are packed with annoying pop up ads.
Thank you & best wishes for continued success in the publishing business!

Lucinda L.
Good paper! Enjoyed the content and less-than-known facts presented as well as the puzzles.
James P.

Karen L.
Bought for my husband who is a history buff -- he was surprised and certainly pleased! He is looking forward to this little gift every month!
Audrey P.
Can’t wait for the next issue!!!!
Rebecca G.
Not use AI to write it
Roanna G.
The mix of stories was scattered, and some were quite ho-hum. That cartoon was just a waste of space. Tossing in a couple games. The issue was just generally not interesting.
Diane M.
I absolutely love History Nation!!! The articles are interesting and a good variety. The newspaper style reading setup is perfection. I’m 67 and miss the days of reading a good newspaper with my morning coffee. This is even better because all the stories are interesting and learning! I even started reading with my afternoon tea. It was such an enjoyable experience I ordered the gardening issues. Also, love looking forward to the monthly deliveries. It’s pure fun and enjoyment
Margaret B.
I have been billed twice. I have never received an issue. I have since cancelled. Still out $20
David D.
Poor writing and editing. Confusing flow to stories
Vernon R.
Haven’t received it yet.
Lisa D.
I have never received anything and would like a refund. Definitely do not hold out any more money from my account.
Robert S.
Great delivery and great reading.Alot of history I didn't know about .Very impress TY
Laura C.
I have asked repeatedly to cancel my subscription. The company has responded & confirmed, yet continues to charge my credit card & send issues.
Alan M.
It is an absolutely brilliant publication. As a history lover it is a joy to dig into different times and civilizations across the centuries. It is something to be savored.
Jan C.
After communications both ways, never even received my free copy before I started getting charged my first $7. Ordered Feb 14. Your customer service team kept telling me it takes up to four weeks. I thought it would be easy receiving my copy. So I just cancelled yesterday. As a 40-year experienced marketer, it appears you have an interesting product, but you really need to reassess your delivery system.
Dan S.
Very informative and enjoyable to read.
Rebecca A.
I didn't know what to expect, but I like the newspaper format that I can pick up and read a couple articles between other activities, it's light enough to read in bed and the articles are well written and researched. They cover a variety of eras, area, topics, lots of conversation starters. Some of the picture are a little too small to really see the details of the what's being discussed. The puzzles are an added plus. Glad I subscribed.
Elizabeth C.
Don't ask me to review if I haven't received it yet
Eric M.
The stories are too obscure. Layout is too crowded. It needs more polish and curation.
Jose O.
I have always been a History buff, and I am also a nerd so I carry anything related to history on my Kindle , however I am also a Gen X that grew up with physical books and analog journals, and History Nation definitely took me back to that era. I am very satisfied with their attention to historic detail, the different historic era articles, and the paper itself. Highly recommended!
Noemi C.
I love the different topics that it offers. I recently got interested in history, being a Spanish major I usually learn about Latin American history so it was nice to read about other countries. I like the article of how in the la gomera in the Canary Islands, the guanche used whistling as a way to communicate from long distance in the mountains. I remember learning about Magna Carta in middle school but it was refreshing to review material that I have forgotten. I still haven’t finished this months paper because I’m a busy lady but I read it as a reward and when I have time, I always look forward to reading it. I can’t wait to receive the next one.
Casey H.
I learn a lot about things I never knew about. It’s a great fun read on a Saturday morning with some coffee!
Thomas P.
Excellent historical analysis and articles. I find everything very informative and interesting.
Stephanie .
Got history nation for my boyfriend for Christmas of 2025 - he loves it! He can’t wait to receive it every month. He likes to read the articles and play the games. Keeps him off of his phone! This makes a great gift for any history buffs!
Lori T.
It’s just not what I expected.
ceredwyn h.
I read it over the phone to my brother and he agreed with me, that it was a great history resource. Thank you for putting it together.
abigail s.
So far I love this subscription!! It's such a simple, easy way that I have reduced phone time in the mornings, perfect with coffee.
The segments are short and informative, easily keeping attention.
My favorite part is the crossword on the back! It's such a fun way to pay attention and like a little study guide.
Gretchen W.
I love history nation. Great newspaper. So is baking Nation. Full of recipes and tips on baking. Can't wait to receive my new issue of garden Nation. I can't stop reading. So good. Im a forever subscriber. Thank u so much. I love the kindness company.

Alot of good articles
Ronald B.
It rekindled my interest in learning things. Although I’m interested in more recent history, I realized I find ancient history more and more fascinating. I am looking forward to future issues. I commend you and your staff for a great job.
Ron B.

It felt a little childish, similar to a scholastic news. Fun, but not as informative as I was hoping.
Norman B.
Love the indepth information and explanation of terms I'm not familiar with.
Nicole W.
As a history lover, I highly recommend History Nation. The articles are informative and fun to read. The larger print is easy to read. I also love the puzzles included. It is great to see papers making a come back.
Alisa J M.
Very good layout of the paper. This is a gift to my son on law who is a history teacher.
roy g.
Here never got issue 1 and then got issues 2 and 3 in the same week. I think the post office in Chicago threw issue 1 away due to back logs due to storms. It has happened to me in the past when weather messes up deliveries. Complaining to post office does no good.
He loves the 2 issues he got.
Roy Gripp
Kerrie B.
Not anyone's fault, I thought that I was pretty intelligent and well read, but a lot of this was over my head. Oh well. Thank you anyway.
Roxanne L.
Really informative and interesting!
Anne Elizabeth B.
I received my first issue last month and I really enjoyed reading each story and learning about the Romans. I loved learning about the Chinese emperor's tomb as well. I look forward to receiving my next issue and ingesting all the history.

I enjoy this paper…..because I love history! The articles have been interesting and easy to read. The puzzles are great….reminds me of a quiz at the end of a lesson. I’m looking forward to the next issue(s).

Loved every bit of it. Particularly the China tomb piece. Loved the photos, brought back memories of my trip to China. Enjoyed the different viewpoints.
Debra B.

Just started my subscription, so I have only received one paper the History Nation and I, absolutely, loved it from front page to the back page. I am so glad that I came across this and thank you for publishing a paper with substance. Keep them coming, you have a fan in me.
Blaine D.
Loved this unique newspaper. 24 pages of really good historical articles & some games. They even have some historical fiction writing. Well done and I heartily recommend this!
Cindy W.
I gave it to my son in law for christmas, he's a history major, and he really likes it.
Kathleen R.
Love this paper! We need more!
william s.
Too many articles...stuff...included.
Samara H.
So fun and informative!
Marc R.
I have two suggestions. First, when an article has a foreign or unusual proper name or word, please consider adding the pronunciation. For example, the latest issue had the words "quipu" and "Quipucamaycos." Doing so may help readers better retain information in the article. Second, as a newspaper, you may wish to include articles related to significant upcoming anniversaries and commemorations, thus loosely tying them to what is going in today's real world. For example, the 100th anniversary (centennial) of Route 66 is November 2026. regards, Marc Romanych

I was a little skeptical about this but decided to try it. I’m sooooo glad I did. This is a fantastic piece of work and I already look forward to seeing and reading it every month. If you like and are looking to learn more about history you could do no better than this paper. Well worth the money!!
Linda T.
I wrote a recommendation on your Facebook page. Love it!
Christina S.
I didn't realize it would be $10 every month. I canceled my subscription.
Wayne and Sara G.
