The ultimate adventure that combines the art of crochet and the joy of giving, all while turbo-charging your crochet skills from "meh" to "marvelous"!

There's a poignant truth in the lines of my favorite poem 'Slow Dance', which warns against the speed of life causing us to miss out on what truly matters. It reads:

'Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die,
'Cause you never had time to call and say, 'Hi'
You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast.
Time is short. The music won't last.'

These beautiful words perfectly capture why I started this crochet kindness journey. Life is zooming by, relationships fraying, and we're missing what matters most - human connection.

So I'm slowing down that frantic dance and taking a pause to appreciate the people in my life through my crochet kindness challenge.

It's simple: Every week over the next year, I'll crochet 1 new project for someone in my life and pair it with a charming greeting card that matches the pattern. Browse the pictures to get a small preview of just some of the cuties to be crocheted and matching greeting cards over the next few months.  Each pattern and matching greeting card will be possible for any skill level, designed to take anywhere from a lightning-fast 30 minutes to a leisurely 3 hours . 

The matching crochet pattern and greeting card are designed to be a tangible "I'm thinking of you" or "You matter to me" to someone special.

It could be for:

• a family member I cherish
• a friend I've lost touch with
• a mentor I admire
• or even a smiling stranger.
